Pray Scripture Over Your Finances! Part 3

Did you know money is mentioned in the Bible over 800 times? Money is such an important topic because it can be used as a tool to grow the Kingdom when used correctly. Keep reading for verses to pray over your finances!



Prosperity


Psalm 35-27 AMP Let them shout for joy and rejoice, who favor my vindication and want what is right for me; let them say continually, “Let the Lord be magnified, who delights and takes pleasure in the prosperity of His servant.”


Psalm 68:6 AMP God makes a home for the lonely; He leads the prisoners into prosperity, only the stubborn and rebellious dwell in a parched land.


Psalms 118:24, 25 AMP This [day in which God has saved me] is the day which the Lord has made; Let us rejoice and be glad in it. O Lord, save now, we beseech You; O Lord, we beseech You, send now prosperity and give us success!


Psalm 122:7 AMP May peace be within your walls and prosperity within your palaces.


Isaiah 48:18 AMP “Oh, that you had paid attention to My commandments! Then your peace and prosperity would have been like a [flowing] river, and your righteousness [the holiness and purity of the nation] like the [abundant] waves of the sea.


Zechariah 8:12 AMP For there the seed will produce peace and prosperity; the vine will yield its fruit, and the ground will produce its increase, and the heavens will give their dew. And I will cause the remnant of this people to inherit and possess all these things.


3 John 2:2 AMP Beloved, I pray that in every way you may succeed and prosper and be in good health [physically], just as [I know] your soul prospers [spiritually].


Generosity and Blessings


Proverbs 10:22 AMP The blessing of the Lord brings [true] riches, and He adds no sorrow to it [for it comes as a blessing from God].


Proverbs 10:24 AMP What the wicked fears will come upon him, but the desire of the righteous [for the blessings of God] will be granted.


Proverbs 22:9 AMP He who is generous will be blessed, for he gives some of his food to the poor.


Isaiah 32:20 AMP Blessed (happy, fortunate) are you who cast your seed upon all waters [when the river overflows its banks and irrigates the land], you who allow the ox and the donkey to roam freely.


Mark 12:41 AMP And He sat down opposite the [temple] treasury, and began watching how the people were putting money into the treasury. And many rich people were putting in large sums. A poor widow came and put in two small copper coins, which amount to a mite. Calling His disciples to Him, He said to them, “I assure you and most solemnly say to you, this poor widow put in [proportionally] more than all the contributors to the treasury. For they all contributed from their surplus, but she, from her poverty, put in all she had, all she had to live on.”


Psalm 112:9,10 AMP He has given freely to the poor; His righteousness endures forever; His horn will be exalted in honor. The wicked will see it and be angered. He will gnash his teeth and melt away [in despair and death]; The desire of the wicked will perish and come to nothing.


Proverbs 22:4 AMP The reward of humility [that is, having a realistic view of one’s importance] and the [reverent, worshipful] fear of the Lord is riches, honor, and life.


Consequences of loving money and robbing God


Ecclesiastes 5:10 AMP He who loves money will not be satisfied with money, nor he who loves abundance with its gain. This too is vanity (emptiness).


Malachi 3:8-10 AMP Will a man rob God? Yet you are robbing Me! But you say, ‘In what way have we robbed You?’ In tithes and offerings [you have withheld]. You are cursed with a curse, for you are robbing Me, this whole nation! Bring all the tithes (the tenth) into the storehouse, so that there may be food in My house, and test Me now in this,” says the Lord of hosts, “if I will not open for you the windows of heaven and pour out for you [so great] a blessing until there is no more room to receive it.


Matthew 6:24 AMP No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon [money, possessions, fame, status, or whatever is valued more than the Lord].


Matthew 21:12 AMP And Jesus entered the temple [grounds] and drove out [with force] all who were buying and selling [birds and animals for sacrifice] in the temple area, and He turned over the tables of the moneychangers [who made a profit exchanging foreign money for temple coinage] and the chairs of those who were selling doves [for sacrifice].


Matthew 23:23 AMP Woe to you, [self-righteous] scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you give a tenth (tithe) of your mint and dill and cumin [focusing on minor matters], and have neglected the weightier [more important moral and spiritual] provisions of the Law: justice and mercy and faithfulness; but these are the [primary] things you ought to have done without neglecting the others.


Mark 11:15 AMP Then they came to Jerusalem. And He entered the temple [grounds] and began driving out [with force] the people who were selling and buying [animals for sacrifice] in the temple area, and overturned the tables of the moneychangers [who made a profit exchanging foreign money for temple coinage] and the seats of those who were selling doves;


1 Timothy 6:10 AMP For the love of money [that is, the greedy desire for it and the willingness to gain it unethically] is a root of all sorts of evil, and some by longing for it have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves [through and through] with many sorrows.


Wisdom


Proverbs 8:18-21 AMP Riches and honor are with me, enduring wealth and righteousness (right standing with God). My fruit is better than gold, even pure gold, and my yield is better than choicest silver. I, [Wisdom, continuously] walk in the way of righteousness, in the midst of the paths of justice, that I may cause those who love me to inherit wealth and true riches, and that I may fill their treasuries.


Ecclesiastes 7:12 AMP For wisdom is a protection even as money is a protection, But the [excellent] advantage of knowledge is that wisdom shields and preserves the lives of its possessors.


Proverbs 17:16 AMP Why is there money in the hand of a fool to buy wisdom, when he has no common sense or even a heart for it?
